Once upon a time, in the fun-sized state of Delaware, a bundle of joyous kids embarked on an adventure of a kind called "Sensory Play." Delaware, nicknamed the “First State” because it was the first to ratify the U.S. Constitution, was a magical place, flourishing with vibrant, lush landscapes as if they were painted by Buzzlebee, the imaginary rainbow-colored bumblebee who loved to draw with his magical pollen. Buzzlebee fluttered around the state, sprinkling his magical pollen all over the land, from the sandy beaches of Rehoboth to the rolling hills of Brandywine Valley. And wherever his pollen landed, a new sensory play station would appear, ripe for the Delaware kids to explore. Brimming with life and laughter, these kids held curious hearts and muddy hands. They were called the 'Delaware Doodlers,' and they were as diverse and colorful as Buzzlebee himself: each one unique, each one special, each embracing the joy of exploring the world through touch, taste, sound, smell, and vision. The Delaware Doodlers loved diving their hands into slippery, squishy jelly, giggling as cool, wobbly bits slipped through their fingers. They relished the feeling of fluffy cotton balls, as soft as the clouds in the sky. Sensory Play was their favorite, as they painted masterpieces with pudding, danced to the rhythm of raindrops on tin cans, and made sculptures out of gooey, squishy play-dough. Buzzlebee would often watch them from above, buzzing with delight at their discoveries. And every time a Doodler discovered a new sensation, their laughter would echo across the land, filling the heart of Delaware with joy and the scent of Buzzlebee's magical pollen. Sure, they got messy, and yes, sometimes the noise could wake a hibernating bear, but Sensory Play was more than just fun and games. It was the Delaware Doodlers’ way to discover, to learn, to grow. And they wouldn't have it any other way!
