Once upon a time, in the charmingly small state of Delaware, where the peach orchards kissed the sky and the Atlantic Ocean whispered its tales, lived a group of harmoniously talented kiddos. Their extraordinary talent? Making music that could cheer up a grumpy troll or make a bashful bird dance! Among them was Fiddlestick Frank, a blue-haired, one-eyed alien with a deep passion for the fiddle. Frank had crash-landed in Delaware from a distant galaxy, and the kids of Delaware welcomed him with open arms and open hearts. Despite having just one eye, Frank could play the fiddle as though his fingers were dancing on a rainbow. His alien melodies added a unique twang to the ensemble, making their music a delightful mixture of intergalactic tunes and earthy rhythms. Every Saturday, by the river Delaware, these musical prodigies, led by Fiddlestick Frank, would gather to create symphonies that would echo across the state. The trees would sway, and the flowers would bloom in rhythm with their melodious harmony. From Bear to Dover, from Newark to Wilmington, the entire state of Delaware would pause to listen to the mystical tunes these special kids composed. And laughter! Oh, there was so much laughter! Between each melody, Frank would crack jokes that even made the squirrels giggle. "Why don't aliens eat clowns?" he'd ask. "Because they taste funny!" And the kids would roll on the grass, laughing and cheering, forgetting that Frank was any different from them. So, in the enchanting state of Delaware, life was filled with music, laughter, and a whole lot of love. And the kids, led by their alien friend, showed everyone that music truly is a universal language.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
