Connecticut, or as some of the locals like to call it, "The Nutmeg State," is a quirky, compact little slice of America, packed with fun surprises at every corner. Imagine a giant sandwich, stuffed to the brim with nature's wonders, historical landmarks, and sprinkled with a dash of magical sports energy. That is Connecticut for you! Now, let's talk about its most energetic inhabitants - the kids of Connecticut, especially those participating in Sportsfield activities. Picture a group of supercharged munchkins, brimming with zest, and sporting an infectious enthusiasm that could outshine the sun. They are not just ordinary kids; they are the mini-heroes of Sportsfield! Meet our imaginary character, Sporty Squirrel Sam, who loves nothing more than to watch these kids play. He's a little red squirrel with a fluffy tail, blue sneakers, and a perpetual grin. Sam is convinced he's the official mascot of Sportsfield, even though no one has had the heart to tell him that mascots usually don't live up in the trees. Sam adores watching the kids compete, their faces lighting up with excitement as they run, jump and play. He chuckles from his perch when they tumble, their laughter echoing across the field. He silently cheers them on, his tiny paws clapping in joy. Each day, Sporty Squirrel Sam watches in awe as the kids of Connecticut transform into fearless athletes, their spirits soaring as high as his treetop home. So, if you ever find yourself in Connecticut, keep an eye out for the lively sports fields. And remember to look up. You might just spot a little red squirrel, cheering on his favorite team, living the Sportsfield dream. Just don't distract him with a nut; he takes his self-appointed mascot job very seriously!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
