Somewhere in the northeastern corner of the United States, snug between New York and Massachusetts, lies a state known as Connecticut or CT for short. It's a place where the trees wear blankets of white in the winter and burst into a million shades of green in the summer. But the kids of CT, they are a special breed. They are, as legend says, descendants of the Great Frost Knight, Sir Kold Nippytoes. Sir Kold was a brave and daring knight, known for his love of the chilliest weather and a peculiar sport involving thin, sharp blades, a round, rubber object, and a lot of thick padding. Yes, you guessed it right, it's hockey! With his mighty hockey stick, Sir Kold conquered countless icy terrains, and his spirit lingers on in the hockey-playing kids of CT. These kids, they're not your ordinary bunch. No, no. They don't dread the icy winds or the freezing cold; they thrive in it. The colder it gets, the wider their smiles. They strap on their skates, hustle onto the ice rink, and glide across the surface with the grace of polar bears on a fish hunt. And when that black puck slides across the ice, you can bet your last nickel there's a CT kid zooming after it, stick at the ready, eyes gleaming with determination. Oh, they may stumble and fall. But with a giggle and a grin, they pick themselves back up, brush off the ice, and are back in the game quicker than you can say "Sir Kold Nippytoes". That's the thing about the hockey kids of CT. They're resilient. They're courageous. They're a little bit crazy. But above all, they embody the spirit of their legendary ancestor, Sir Kold, one icy game at a time.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
