Here, the Vocal Virtuosos gather every afternoon under the watchful gaze of Maestro Mike, the melodious moose. You see, Maestro Mike isn't your average moose. With a top hat always perched jauntily between his majestic antlers and a conductor's baton forever clutched in his hoof, he resembles more of a dapper musical maestro than a woodland creature! Maestro Mike leads these younglings as they harmonize with the tweeting birds, improvise with the gurgling rivers, and syncopate with the rustling forest leaves. Under his guidance, each kid transforms into a singing sensation, their voices echoing across the rolling hills of Connecticut and beyond. Between the symphonies of laughter, you'll find the young Vocal Virtuosos. These pint-sized Pavarottis, small-sized Streisands, and little-sized Lady Gagas all have one thing in common - they are living proof that in Connecticut, even the smallest voice can make the biggest echo. Their giggles and songs mix with the breeze, creating a melody that Connecticut carries in its heart, a song that tells the tale of its magical, musical kids.

One of the highlights of our property is the Alappat Atelier, an incredible art studio where the celebrated artist Sebastian Alappat works. From massive fossilized dinosaur pieces to an entire section dedicated to Alice in Wonderland, and a fantastic collection of comic book art, there's plenty to ignite their imagination. The studio is well-equipped with all the necessary art supplies, spacious tables, and abundant natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We understand that comfort is essential for both kids and parents. That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. For added convenience, there are also two restrooms on the premises and a picturesque outdoor sitting area where you can soak up the serene surroundings.
For over 30 years, Allegro Academy has provided high quality music education programs for students of all ages. Founded in 1986, Allegro Academy offers a variety of classes ranging from Music in Motion for toddlers to Musical Theater for adults. During the academic year, there are two 18-week semesters of classes available. Additionally, individual lessons in Piano and Voice are given weekly for children and adults aged 8 and older. A Six Week Summer Session is also available for all lessons, classes, and productions. Allegro Academy celebrates its 30th anniversary in August 2016, an important milestone in its long and successful history of music education. With a wide variety of classes, individual lessons, and special summer session, Allegro Academy strives to provide quality music education for everyone.
