Once upon a time, in the ever twinkling state of Connecticut, a group of spritely kids known as the 'CT Skater Sprites' lived. CT, short for 'Cool Territory', was a magical land where trees changed their coats from green to russet and gold every fall, and the entire state would turn into a frosted fairyland every winter. The Skater Sprites were a band of merry kids, who had a unique way of celebrating seasons - they skated. Summer, winter, fall or spring, their tiny feet were always in skates, and they slid, flipped, and twirled like little colorful tornadoes on wheels or blades. Now, you may wonder, "How did they skate when it's not winter?" Well, they had a secret weapon, the enchanting 'Ever-Ice' that stayed icy cool even under the sun, a magical gift from their jolly friend, Frosty Flip-Flop. Frosty Flip-Flop, an exuberant snowman with a carrot nose and a hat made of maple leaves, was the Skater Sprites' skating coach. He was a natural on the ice, despite his slightly wobbly midsection. The only time he wasn't jovial was when his hat wilted under the sun. Even then, he'd skate over to the nearest maple tree and pluck a fresh leaf with a grand pirouette - a sight that always made the Skater Sprites double up laughing! Together, Frosty and the Skater Sprites made CT a vibrant, fun-filled place. They turned skating into a joyful dance, celebrating the beauty of their state, making every passerby wish they too were a part of the 'CT Skater Sprites'!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
