In the quaint, beautiful state of Connecticut, also known as the Nutmeg State, a group of bright-eyed, bushy-tailed children gather around. They're not preparing for a football match or a game of hopscotch. No, they're getting ready for their favorite activity, Painting! Imagine the state of Connecticut as a big blue whale named Bubbles who leisurely swims across the USA map. Connecticut may be one of the smallest states in the USA, but boy does Bubbles pack a punch! He’s teeming with captivating forests, charismatic towns, alluring beaches, and enchanting rivers. Bubbles loves fun facts. Did you know that Connecticut was one of the Thirteen Colonies that rebelled against British rule in the American Revolution? Also, it's home to the world-famous Yale University! Now, meet the Nutmeggers. That’s what you call the kids from Connecticut. They’re as spicy and unique as the nutmeg spice itself! The Nutmegger kids have a special affinity for colors, and their energy is as vibrant as a painter’s palette. With a paintbrush in their hands, they become superheroes, creating enchanting worlds on their canvas. There's Bob, the blue-haired boy who paints magical beasts; Mabel, the little girl with pigtails, portrays landscapes as if they were candy lands; and Tim, the funny kid with the infectious laugh, whose paintings are so hilarious they could make a statue giggle. Together, they splatter their laughter, dreams, and vibrant colors onto their canvases, turning Connecticut into the most colorful whale in the sea of United States. Bubbles couldn't be prouder of his little Nutmeggers. For him, they’re not just kids who paint. They’re Connecticut's colorful champions, spreading joy one brushstroke at a time.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
