His hair is like seaweed, his eyes shimmer like the Long Island Sound and his laughter can often be confused with the squawk of a seagull. He is the heart of the team, teaching the kids everything they need to know about water-skiing, from balancing on the skis to carving the waves like a pro. The kids, ranging from sun-kissed toddlers to freckle-faced teenagers, are as diverse as the Connecticut River's fish population. Some are natural water ninjas, gliding effortlessly on the shimmering water, while others are more like belly-flopping otters.
