In the sunny, golden state of California, where palm trees sway like dancers and the Pacific Ocean booms its own rhythmic beat, a unique tribe of kids called the "Groove Goblins" is taking over. 

Ah! California, with its never-ending sunshine, it's as if the state itself is wearing a massive radiant smile. From the towering redwoods in the North to the sandy beaches of the South, California is one big dance floor for these Groove Goblins! 

These aren’t your everyday goblins though. They aren't gloomy, grimy, or grumpy. No, sir! These Goblins are bright, energetic, and super funny! They have the most contagious laughter which is known to ripple across the state, making even the grumpiest grizzly bear chuckle.

They don't move around like regular kids. They slide, twirl, twist and bounce. They fill the air with an infectious rhythm that even grandma's poodle can't resist tapping its paw to. From hip-hop in Hollywood to salsa in San Diego, they can do it all. 

Their leader, a curly-haired sprite named Rhythm Rico, has spring-loaded feet and twirling tornado hands. He can spin so fast that he once stirred up a milkshake just by dancing next to it! Rico and his Groove Goblins prove that in California, you don't just walk; you moonwalk, you don't just run; you do the running man, and you never, ever stand still when you can breakdance instead.

So, if you ever visit California and feel an irresistible urge to shimmy, shake or shudder, don’t be surprised! It's just the Groove Goblins, inviting you to join their dance-filled, laughter-loving, California-cool adventure!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. 

 I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones
One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people.

Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment.

At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special.

At Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp, we offer a variety of ACA Accredited camp programs for children ages 4-13. Our program is designed to promote fun and learning in a safe and welcoming environment. We teach vital 21st century skills such as communication, connection, collaboration, problem solving, teamwork, and sportsmanship that will help kids develop lifelong skills.

Our camp is located on Palos Verdes Drive North, near Western Avenue at the Rolling Hills Preparatory School. We are proud to have been offering ACA accredited camp programs since 1995 and believe that it is our duty to ensure that children have the best possible experience while they are here.

At Peninsula Bay Cities Day Camp, we strive to provide a caring and nurturing atmosphere for all campers. Our program focuses on creating a positive environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and grow. We believe that our program provides the perfect opportunity for kids to have fun and learn valuable skills that will help them in their future.

42nd Street Moon has since expanded its mission to celebrate humanity’s common heart and champion characters who sing their truth. Through our productions of contemporary and classic musical theatre, we honor the best of the past by providing an outlet for the voices of the present. We also commit to a better future through our programming, education and community outreach. Our productions are thoughtfully conceived and creatively staged, and feature some of the Bay Area’s finest musical theatre talent. This summer, the Levis JCC is pleased to offer traditional camps for ages 18 months to 12th grade. Whether your child is a budding engineer, musician, theater enthusiast, sports fanatic, or more, there's something for everyone! Camps include Keshet, Gesher, Lego, STREAM, Music, Hevra, Theater, Sports, Tsofim Caravan, and Volunteen/CIT. All camps will take place at the LFJCC. 

The LFJCC is also committed to providing recreation and social activities for children with special needs. If you have a child with special needs, please contact the LFJCC to set up an intake meeting to determine if we have the adequate resources to support your child.

Central YMCA Day Camps

The camp is located in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest and is one of the first fully accessible camps in the United States. A special use permit granted by the San Bernardino National Forest allows us to operate and we are fully accredited by the American Camp Association. The name Camp Paivika was chosen by the campers themselves. In the language of the Cahuilla Native Americans, the word “paivika” (pronounced pi-vee-ka) means “dawn.” This reflects a new dawn of welcome, acceptance and inclusion and is a perfect name for this incredible camp. 

Camp Paivika is dedicated to providing unforgettable experiences for campers with mild to severe developmental and physical disabilities such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and Down syndrome. Our highly trained and caring staff provide a safe, exciting and nurturing camp environment. We provide a wide range of activities tailored to the individual needs of each camper. From swimming in the lake, to arts and crafts, to star gazing, every camper can find something they love and enjoy doing.

Camp Winnarainbow was founded in 1975 by Hippy Icon, Flower Geezer, Poet, Activist Wavy Gravy. With his creativity and passion for making a positive impact on the world, Wavy Gravy has created a community of inspiring individuals dedicated to spreading joy and a love for life. The camp motto, "Toward the Fun!", reflects the positive atmosphere created by the staff and campers.

Camp Winnarainbow is located at the Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. This beautiful location is home to sacred Black Oak trees, Streeter Creek, open fields, and majestic mountains, all of which contribute to the camp's unique experience. The beauty of the land is an integral part of the Winnarainbow community.
