Meet Kale, the "Krav Maga Kangaroo", our imaginary character who’s as bouncy and energetic as these kids. He's a jolly, fun-loving kangaroo with super strength and agility, who hops all the way from the Outback to train the Californian kids in the art of Krav Maga. You see, Kale isn't just an ordinary kangaroo, he's a Kangaroo with a black belt! Now imagine this, Kale, with his big feet and powerful tail, demonstrating a high kick or a swift punch, while the kids, with their sun-bleached hair and tan lines, mimic his every move, their laughter echoing through the training hall. Training under the Californian sun, these kids don't just learn about self-defense, they bond over spilled smoothies, shared sunscreen, and the relentless pursuit of learning how to do a perfect kangaroo kick, just like Kale. With each training session, these Krav Maga kids grow stronger, braver and a whole lot funnier. After all, it's not every day you see a child asking a kangaroo if he can borrow his black belt! For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

They learn about Jewish life and how to be a part of it, gaining skills for a life committed to God, Torah, the Jewish people, and tikkun olam.
