In the arid yet vibrant state of Arizona, surrounded by majestic cacti and the sun-splashed Grand Canyon, dwell a group of extraordinary kids: The STEAM Team! These bright young minds are not your average desert dwellers. They are wizards of wisdom, exploring the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, fondly known as STEAM. Meet their quirky leader, Gizmo Gecko, a bespectacled reptile with a knack for coding and an uncanny habit of getting tangled up in his own inventions. Despite the blunders, or perhaps because of them, Gizmo, with his unyielding curiosity and infectious enthusiasm, leads the STEAM Team on their everyday adventures. On any given day, you might find them constructing cactus castles that harness solar power or decoding the mysteries of the universe beneath the clear, starry Arizona sky. Sometimes they're painting mathematical masterpieces inspired by the vibrant desert sunsets. Even the prickly Pecos Bill, a robot designed by the STEAM team, can't resist joining in on the creative fun! These Arizona kids are as diverse as the state's landscape. Yet, they all share an insatiable thirst for knowledge and an unwavering determination to solve the toughest of puzzles, whether it be a complex equation or a tricky computer glitch. With the spirit of exploration echoing from the depths of the Grand Canyon to the peaks of the Saguaro-filled landscapes, these STEAM-loving trailblazers continue to innovate, create, and inspire. So, if you find yourself in the captivating state of Arizona, listen for the laughter echoing off the adobe walls, and look for the flash of the desert sun off Gizmo's glasses. You'll know you've found the STEAM team, ready to dive into their next thrilling experiment!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
Parents know that their children's time away from home and school matters. The Learning, Enrichment, and Play (LEAP) program offered by the Marana Unified School District provides supervised, secure learning and play experiences for children enrolled in pre-K through sixth grade. The LEAP sites are licensed facilities, located at each elementary school in the district, and provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for children to learn, play, and grow. For middle schoolers, the Teen Extended Day (TED) program offers academic enrichment tailored to their needs. With LEAP and TED, parents can feel confident that their children are in a secure environment, receiving the educational and enrichment opportunities they need.
