We understand that comfort is essential for both kids and parents. That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. For added convenience, there are also two restrooms on the premises and a picturesque outdoor sitting area where you can soak up the serene surroundings.

Every year, ONSC welcomes 3,000 students from public and private schools to explore the beauty and biodiversity of the Ozarks' natural environment. Hikes and activities are tailored to meet national and state science learning standards, with in-depth education in biology, ecology, geology, and social studies. Students can explore the area, discover new species, and learn about the environment while having fun outdoors. The camp facility, staff, and AmeriCorps members become a second home for our campers. Parents can appreciate the lasting relationships the camp and its staff provide, as campers can return year after year, and may even become AmeriCorps, staff, or CITs themselves. We strive to create an environment that is safe, nurturing, and accepting of all campers, where they can build friendships that will last a lifetime.
