For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Pine Ridge Day Camp is the perfect summer destination for children in North Alabama. Located on 120+ acres of land in Somerville, Alabama, just 20 minutes from South Huntsville, campers can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities in 1-week sessions held in June and July. From Pre-K (4+ years old) through 8th grade, campers can experience horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, archery, rock-wall climbing, zip-lining, high & low ropes challenge courses, and more! Pine Ridge provides a safe and fun environment for kids to have a day camp adventure without being away from home overnight.
