Once upon a time, in the breathtakingly beautiful state of Alaska, also known as AK, where massive snow-capped mountains kissed the brilliant blue skies, and playful seals frolicked in icy waters, lived a boisterous bunch of kids. These weren't just your run-of-the-mill, ordinary kids, oh no! They were the "Polar Prayers", the (un)official name of their exciting religious service group. Now, these kids had a unique friend, Mr. Moose-stache. Yes, you heard it right! Mr. Moose-stache was a large, mirthful moose who wore a splendid, twirling mustache. He was as Alaskan as you could get, and loved nothing more than guiding his human friends through their religious activities with style, humor, and yes, a dash of moose magic! These young 'Polar Prayers' and Mr. Moose-stache would gather every Sunday in the heart of nature, under the endless Alaskan sky, surrounded by whispering pine trees, to celebrate their faith, do good deeds, and share bellyful laughs. They sang hymns that echoed across the valleys, told stories that made them think, and prayed together, their young voices blending harmoniously with the chatter of nearby birds. Though they were in the chilly wilds of AK, their hearts were warm with love, faith, and friendship. They could make a religious service feel like a grand adventure, full of laughter, camaraderie, and of course, Mr. Moose-stache's unexpected antics! From his hilariously dramatic recitations of religious texts to his funny dance when it came time to sing hymns, Mr. Moose-stache was the life and soul of their gatherings. In the end, they were more than just a group of kids participating in a religious service group; they were a family – quirky, cheerful, and bound together by their shared faith, love for AK, and the unforgettable adventures with Mr. Moose-stache.

Dear Families, (currently our website is under construction) Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people. Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp. Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment. At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new. Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special. Thank you for entrusting us with your children. It’s an honor to be part of their journey and to help create memories that will last a lifetime. If you have any questions or just want to chat about camp, don’t hesitate to reach out. I can’t wait to see what the next camp season holds and to welcome your family to another amazing summer at Swift Nature Camp.

In the 1940s, a vision was born to create a place where people could come and experience God in a beautiful, mountainous setting. With the purchase of the original 80 acres in Alaska, the dream of establishing Victory Bible Camp was set in motion. Before Alaska was a state, bills had to be introduced in the U.S. Congress to make the purchase possible. Eventually, in 1947, Victory Bible Camp was officially founded and the legacy began. Today, Victory Bible Camp has grown to encompass over 400 acres in the valley between the Talkeetna and Chugach mountain ranges. The campus also provides facilities to accommodate up to 300 visitors, allowing many people to come and experience the beauty of God’s creation in Alaska. Victory Bible Camp has been providing a place for people to come and experience God in the Alaskan wilderness for over 70 years. What started as a vision to purchase 80 acres in Alaska has grown into a 400 acre campus. This amazing camp has stood the test of time, and continues to be a place of spiritual and natural beauty for young and old alike.
Part of that is connecting with our deaf community. We encourage one another to grow in our faith by joining together in prayer and fellowship. We strive to create an atmosphere of love and understanding, where everyone feels welcomed and accepted. We know that connecting with our deaf community and embracing our differences is essential to our growth in faith. We share our testimonies of our faith journey and come together to learn more about how we can strengthen our faith. We talk about the struggles of being deaf and how we persevere in our faith, helping each other to find peace and hope in tough times. We invite you to join us in connecting with our deaf community. We hope to create a supportive and caring environment where we can encourage and grow in our faith together. Everyone is welcome to join us in sharing our stories, praying together, and learning how to live out our faith more fully. Let’s come together and build a stronger faith and community.
