In the wildly wonderful state of Wyoming, where the wind whistles through the Grand Tetons and the Yellowstone geysers gurgle, a group of kids with unmatched energy and courage have embarked on a unique journey. They aren't cowboys or cowgirls but ninjas, practicing flips, spins, and leaps with the agility of mountain goats. These aren't your ordinary ninjas though, oh no! These are the WY Wily Weasel Warriors, named after Wyoming's quick and clever critter, the weasel. Their leader is a spry imaginary character named Whiskers the Weasel, who wears a bandana around his neck and a ninja mask over his eyes. Don't let his tiny stature fool you, he can perform a quadruple flip before you can even say "WY Wily Weasel Warriors"! Whiskers, with his fur as sleek as a black belt and whiskers twitching with excitement, trains these young ninjas. He teaches them how to somersault over the Snake River, climb the Devil's Tower without a rope, and balance on the horns of rodeo bulls. They practice under the big Wyoming sky, their laughter echoing through the open plains. They fall, they slip, but they never stop trying. Their determination is as strong as the Wyoming wind and as steady as Old Faithful Geyser. "You don't become a ninja by doing easy things," Whiskers always says, his voice full of mischief and wisdom. "You become a ninja by doing hard things with a smile on your face, a laugh in your belly, and a weasel as your guide!" And with that, the WY Wily Weasel Warriors whoop, cheer, and leap into their next adventure.
