Once upon a time, in the wide-open and awe-inspiring state of Washington, where the forests grow tall and the apples taste the sweetest, a cool and quirky character named Bumbly Burt lived. Bumbly Burt was an eccentric otter with glasses and a bright-red bow tie. He had the most whimsical job; helping adventurous kids complete their Occupational Therapy activities. These kids, who were as vibrant and varied as the wildflowers sprinkled across Mount Rainier, were quite impressive. They came from all corners of the state, from the bustling streets of Seattle to the tranquil wheat fields of Walla Walla. They loved their therapy sessions as much as they loved the first snowfall over the Cascades. Bumbly Burt, with his wild hair that refused to be tamed and a twinkle in his eye brighter than the stars over the Puget Sound, would guide these children through their therapy tasks. "Now remember," he'd say in his rumbling voice, "the tricky part isn't the task itself, but believing you can do it." And he'd wiggle his whiskers and tip his bowler hat, making the kids burst into laughter. Each day with Bumbly Burt was filled with laughter, encouragement, and a little bit of otterly silliness. Whether the kids were working on hand-eye coordination with a game of 'catch the flying salmon' or improving their fine motor skills by carefully crafting miniature space needles out of toothpicks, they were always having fun. These special kids, with their resilience and spirit, were the true heroes of Washington, and Bumbly Burt was proud to be their companion on their Occupational Therapy journey.
