Hidden in the heart of the Pacific Northwest is the fluttering, evergreen state of WA, or as some might call it, the magical, mystical kingdom of Washington. Tucked away in this fern-filled, rainy wonderland, there are ordinary kids with an extraordinary secret. They are the wacky, woolly wizards of the knitting needles! These aren't your regular kids-on-the-block, oh no! They are part of an enchanted guild known as the Purling Pals. Lead by the hilariously whimsical, Grand Knittress, Wanda Woolsworth - a lavender-loving lynx with a knack for knitting and a belly full of chuckles. Wanda, with her multicolored woolen coat, delights in teaching the kids how to weave magical dreams, one stitch at a time. Each child in the Purling Pals is an artist, their knitting needles, wands that create woolen wonders. They knit rad rainbows on rainy days, cool caps for bald eagles, and even cozy socks for Sasquatch who often gets chilly toes. When they're not knitting, they're frolicking with flying fish in the Puget Sound or whispering secrets to the ancient Ents in the Olympic National Park. These kids can wrangle up a scarf quicker than you can say “Seattle” and knit a dream-catcher faster than a space needle can shoot into the sky. Trust me, in the state of WA, where the apples are aplenty, the mountains are majestically massive, and the kids are knitting ninjas, you’re bound to find magic swirling in every stitch and snicker!
