Once upon a time, in the magical land of Washington, a group of young wizards weren't practicing spells or potion-making. No, they were dabbling in something far more powerful and mysterious—Coding and Programming! You see, in Washington, a state known for its evergreen forests, soaring mountains, and the mythical beast called Bigfoot, they also had another secret. It was the birthplace of tech giants, like Microsoft, and was bubbling with kids who were just brilliant at bending computers to their will using the language of coding. Among these young coders was a boy named Whizkid Wally. With a mane of untamed hair, a pair of glasses that were perpetually fogged up, and endless freckles, Wally was as quirky as they come. But when he was coding, he was a maestro conducting an orchestra of codes. Wally and his companions, the Coding Crusaders, would often gather in the state's iconic Space Needle. There, amidst half-eaten pizza slices and soda cans, they would engage in epic coding battles, their fingers flying over the keyboards creating symphonies of syntaxes. They deftly crafted their code, turning lines of gibberish into sweet melodies that made computers sing and dance. The Crusaders would giggle and guffaw, their laughter echoing around the Space Needle. They would cheer each other on, their competitive spirit as fiery as the volcanic Mount St. Helens. But beyond the fun, they were learning, growing, and shaping the future in their own quirky, code-tastic way. And so, in the magical land of Washington, kids were not just kids. They were wizards and warriors, coding their way to glory, one line of programming at a time. And Whizkid Wally? Well, he was just getting started.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
