In the far northwest corner of the United States, where trees grow taller than dinosaurs and apples are as big as a bear’s head, lies a magical place called Washington State, commonly known as WA. Now, you might be thinking, "Wait, isn't that where they make all the airplanes and coffee?" Yes, yes, it is. But that's not all; it's also a place where music is as common as rain in the spring, and oh boy, it does rain a lot there! Imagine this: Kids from all over WA, having pancakes for breakfast, and then grabbing their instruments, strumming their guitars, tooting their trumpets, and beating their drums as if they were born to rock and roll. One such cool cat is Jazzy Jeff, a jazz-loving Sasquatch with fur as green as the evergreen forests. He lives in a massive tree-house studio, deep within the misty Cascades, where he strums his double bass till the wee hours of the morning. Jazzy Jeff loves nothing more than visiting schools all over the state, from the bustling city of Seattle to the peaceful town of Walla Walla, teaching kids the art of making music. He's a bit clumsy—often tripping over his own feet or misplacing his gigantic bass bow—but that just makes everyone laugh and love him even more! The kids in WA who play music are as diverse and unique as the songs they create. They're a wild, wonderful bunch, playing their tunes from sunup to sundown, filling the state with joyful melodies. They might not all be Sasquatches like Jazzy Jeff, but they sure know how to make their own kind of beautiful music under the vast Washington skies!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
