In the green and mountainous land of Vermont, nestled between the curly whiskers of Canada and the giggly tummy of Massachusetts, a group of swashbuckling adventurers, no taller than a stack of pancakes, take to the glittering lakes. These are the Wakeboarding Wizards of Vermont, and oh boy, do they know how to ride a wave! Vermont, in all its syrup-sweet glory, is stitched together with vast emerald hills, chatty chattering streams, and endless forest that look like broccoli from an airplane (don't worry, it doesn't taste like broccoli). But the crown jewel of this state, the real cheddar in the cheese, are the shimmering blue lakes. These magical waterbeds are the playground for the wakeboarding whizz-kids. These kids are as cool as an ice cream sundae on a hot summer day. Strapped into their wakeboards like tiny knights in armor, they fly over the water, creating a splash big enough to give a duck a shower! Their leader is a fearless, freckle-faced boy named Captain Sploosh, who wears a pirate hat and once found a sea-monster in his cereal bowl (don't ask, he still doesn't like to talk about it). These wave-riding rascals are as brave as astronauts and as daring as dragon-slayers. They tackle the waves with giggles, grace and the occasional hiccup (from too much soda, of course). They leap, spin, and perform such spectacular stunts that even the fish underwater stop to applaud. But most of all, they know how to make a splash, not just in the water, but in the heart of Vermont, making it the coolest, most wakeboard-wondrous state in the whole wide world! So, if you ever see a pancake-sized whirlwind zipping across a Vermont lake, know that it's just another day in the life of the Wakeboarding Wizards!
