In the wildly wonderful, maple-syrup-sweet state of Vermont, there exists an extraordinary group of kids who, when not skiing down snow-kissed mountains or chasing Autumn leaves, are committed to the vibrant, high-spirited world of cheerleading. Meet our hero – a lovable, pancake-loving moose named Mopsy who had developed a peculiar fondness for these kids. Mopsy had the magnificent job of being Vermont Cheerleading's number one fan, and although he had antlers too wide for backflips and hooves not designed for pom-poms, he had a heart full of cheer spirit. In the heart of the Green Mountain State, mornings began with Mopsy, who executed his special moose-dance to rouse the cheerleading troop. The children, dressed in their bright uniforms, would awaken from their slumbers, ready to leap, flip, and cheer their hearts out. These kids, full of vim and verve, were no ordinary cheerleaders; they were a little bit of everything – comedians, acrobats, dancers, and most importantly, experts at spreading cheer. They had the magical ability to turn any frown upside down. Just ask grumpy old Mr. Birch, who after watching their energetic routine, was seen doing cartwheels down Maple Street! Their laughs echoed through the valleys and their energetic chants brought life to the tranquil Vermont landscapes. Just like the state's iconic syrup, their cheer was sweet and infectious, spreading happiness everywhere they went. And there, amidst the chants, the laughter, the flips and the somersaults, Mopsy would be, clapping his hooves together and dancing along with them, his broad moose-smile radiant with pride. So, friends, if you ever find yourself in the beautiful state of Vermont, don't forget to listen for Mopsy's hoof claps and the cheerful laughter of Vermont’s finest cheer squad!
