These children, from towns known as Salt Lake City, Provo, and Ogden, had a special magic. They could transform themselves into anything they wished. One moment, they would be strutting down the catwalk as flamboyant peacocks, their feathery costumes shimmering under the stage lights. The next moment, they would become graceful swans, gliding effortlessly on an imaginary lake, their beautiful white gowns flowing like water. But the most exciting part of it all was their leader, Sir Laughs-a-Lot. Sir Laughs-a-Lot was a jolly, round-bellied, mustache-twirling character who was always brimming with joy. He danced around with a giant rainbow-colored feather in his hat and a sequined cape that sparkled brighter than the Milky Way. He was the one who taught the Modeling Marvels to find the joy in their craft, to laugh at their mistakes, and to sashay their worries away. His booming laughter echoed across UT, filling the state with infectious cheer and inspiring the Modeling Marvels to keep creating, keep transforming, and most importantly, keep laughing!
