High in the mountainous grandeur of Utah, where the air is clear and the scenery is breathtaking, enthusiastic squads of aqua adventurers make the most of the state's sparkling lakes. These are the waterskiing whiz kids of UT, and they skim across the surface of the water with the grace of ballerinas and the speed of comets! Their leader is a chap known as Wobbly Wally, a grinning, goggle-wearing goofball with a heart as big as his laugh. Wally isn’t named ‘Wobbly’ for nothing. You see, when he first started waterskiing, he wobbled more than a jelly in an earthquake! But he never let it get him down; instead, he used it as his secret weapon. Every time he wobbled, he’d flip, twist, or spin, transforming every slip into a spectacular stunt. Now, he's the reigning champ of the Utah Waterskiing League. Every morning, Wally and his crew meet at the edge of their favorite lake. They zip into vibrant wetsuits, strap on gleaming skis, and with a "Wobble on!" from Wally, they’re off! They sweep over the glittering lake, leaving trails of frothy white in their wake. They are a sight to behold, a blur of color against the serene blue of the water, with the Rocky Mountains standing tall and proud in the background. Onlookers laugh and cheer, amazed at the sight of these brave water warriors. They flip, they flop, they leap, they loop — all under the watchful eyes of their leader, Wobbly Wally. So if you're ever in Utah, keep your eyes peeled for a flash of color on the water. That’ll be Wally and his crew, proving once again that you don't need to be perfect to be brilliant!
