Among them is a boy named Tumbleweed Ted, a lanky lad with a voice as smooth as caramel pudding. When Tumbleweed Ted sings, even the armadillos stop to listen, and they're known for being pretty hard of hearing. There’s also Prickly Pear Patty, a pint-sized powerhouse with a voice so powerful that she can knock a tumbleweed clean off its path. Every day, after a hefty helping of their favorite barbecue and a big glass of sweet iced tea, they gather around the campfire under the wide Texas sky, harmonizing under the stars. The Super Singing Squad of Texas and their spectacular sounds are as much a part of Texas as the Alamo, the longhorns, and the bluebonnets.
