Instead of watching TV or playing video games, these kids spend their time riding the rushing rivers in their boats and canoes, almost like tiny, giggly Vikings. One such kid is Willy "Wacky" Waters - the unofficial admiral of the Tennessee waterways. With his trademark yellow rubber ducky life jacket and a red bandana tied around his head, Willy is easy to spot among the river riders. His eyes sparkle with mischief, and he steers his canoe with the confidence of a sea captain wrestling a giant squid! Willy and his friends spend hours splashing in the water, their laughter echoing off the mountains. They race their vessels, zigzagging around the river rocks while getting their faces splashed with cool, refreshing water. The US Engineering League is a prominent nationwide establishment that passionately supports STEM-focused education. Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. However, we understand the importance of accessibility and have therefore expanded our reach.
