Meet T-Bot, a jovial and inventive robot who lived in the colorful state of Tennessee, a place known for its grand mountains, melodious blues, and of course, the world-renowned home of Elvis, but that's a story for another time! This here tale is all about T-Bot and the little budding scientists, engineers, artists, and mathematicians across the state, also known as the STEM/STEAM whiz kids. These enthusiastic tinkerers, with their minds ablaze with curiosity, could turn even a spaghetti noodle into a suspension bridge, or a handful of colorful beads into a DNA model! Don't be surprised if you find them coding in the corners of their classrooms, or debating the physics of a seesaw during recess. T-Bot once visited a local science fair and was dumbfounded by the ingenuity of these kids. One built a volcano that erupted with glitter instead of lava, while another designed a complicated contraption that tossed pancakes! Their ideas were as diverse and dynamic as the Tennessee landscape, from the serene Smoky Mountains to the bustling city of Nashville. And you see, this robot had a unique way of showing emotions. Whenever T-Bot was impressed, he’d blink rapidly, and boy! Did those kids make him blink! The wild imagination of the Tennessee STEAM kids could light up T-Bot's circuits brighter than the neon signs of Nashville’s Broadway! In the land of the Volunteers, these kids were volunteering to make the world a better, and much more amusing, place with their innovative ideas!

We believe in the power of experiential learning and thus emphasize hands-on learning through competitive challenges. Since our inception in 2018, we have been the proud USA National Office for the acclaimed World Robot Olympiad, a global robotics competition that has over 35,000 participants from more than 80 countries. In addition to robotics, our educational offerings span across various STEM sectors such as coding, eSports, engineering, science and more. We're delighted to be connected with several of the most prominent STEM competition organizations. Our primary learning center is nestled in the heart of Naperville, IL. However, we understand the importance of accessibility and have therefore expanded our reach. We offer our well-rounded programs at a range of locations including schools, community centers, park districts, libraries, and even religious institutions. We are committed to making our educational opportunities available to as many children as possible, regardless of their location. At the US Engineering League, we're not just about teaching; we're about inspiring. We take immense pride in our ability to inspire the younger generation to master the skills that are vital for long-term success in STEM-based careers. We strongly believe that nurturing these skills from a young age can set the foundation for a successful and rewarding career in the rapidly evolving STEM fields.

At MTR we believe that all people have inherent and equal value from simply being made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). We recognize that educational outcomes are tied to markers of well-being such as health, income, and vocational choice/opportunities. As a result, we are dedicated to addressing the systemic inequities of education in Memphis so that class, age, ability, race, gender, religion, and other identity markers do not determine a person’s value. We are committed to creating a more equitable educational landscape in the city and honoring the dignity and worth of each and every person.
