These aren't your ordinary kids. Oh, no. With fishing rods longer than the longest dinosaur and buckets bigger than the biggest buffalo, they are on a mission to fish out the funniest, the fattest, and the most fantastic fish in the whole state! Leading this vivacious crew is Captain Bobber, a boy with hair as wild as a tumbleweed and a laugh as loud as a coyote's howl. Bobber isn’t just any ordinary lad. He can speak 'fish'! Yes, you heard it right, fish! With a waggle of his eyebrows and a twist of his tongue, he can convince any fish to leap right out of the water and into his bucket. He's even got a sturgeon named Stanley who's his best mate and gives him all the juicy, underwater gossips. Every day, Bobber and his team of merry Fish Flingers travel the vast plains, the rolling rivers, and the sparkling lakes of South Dakota. They celebrate their victories with ludicrously large pancakes, with syrup flowing like the Missouri River. And, every so often, they encounter a fish so monstrous that it shakes their boat and wakes up the prairie dogs. But, with a laugh and a tug on their fishing lines, they face every challenge.
