In the jovial and sun-drenched land of SC, also known as South Carolina to those who still get lost trying to find the cookie jar, there exists a delightful squad of young warriors. They are not your ordinary knights or superheroes. Oh no, they are the legendary Skater Kids of SC, scooting and sliding, whizzing and zipping on their magical wheeled contraptions from dawn to dusk. Leading this merry band of rebels is a mischievous, sprightly sprite, Skateboard Scotty. With a silver mane of wind-tousled hair, twinkling azure eyes and a smile so bright it could light up the darkest corners of the enchanted Swamp Rabbit Trail, Scotty would whirl and twirl, performing tricks so incredible that even the grumpy old pelicans would stop squawking to watch. The Skater Kids of SC are a sight to behold, their laughter echoing through the moss-covered oaks, their daring deeds turning the stomach of even the bravest of squirrels. Armed with knee pads and helmets, disguises to fool the adult world, they explore the beautiful beaches, charming towns, and wild marshlands, leaving trails of laughter and legends in their wake. And what legends they are! Tales of the great halfpipe at the Myrtle Beach, of the epic downhill race on the hills of Charleston, and the time Billy 'the Bruiser' outskated a hurricane. They are the wild, free spirits of SC, inspiring the state with their joy, their creativity, and a sense of adventure that can only be matched by a squirrel on a sugar high. Truly, South Carolina would just be another spot on the map without the Skater Kids and their fearless leader, Skateboard Scotty.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
