Gumboots has been bestowed with an uncanny ability to balance a soccer ball on his snout better than any seal you've ever seen. He's SC's unofficial mascot and an inspiration for the kids, who chase the ball with as much excitement and enthusiasm as Gumboots chases the tastiest catfish. It's a sight to savor as you watch these SC kids tussle, tumble, and triumph on the field, their faces flushed with the thrill of the game. Gumboots watches from the sidelines, his eyes wide and gleaming, cheering louder than anyone else. He's quite the spectacle himself, often seen attempting a cartwheel or two, but ending up doing a somersault instead.
