They’re the coolest, most energetic bunch of youngsters you’d ever meet, and they’re led by their fearless and funky leader, Captain ZumbaZam. Captain ZumbaZam is a Zumba wizard who sports wild rainbow-colored hair, a shiny cape that glimmers and shimmers in every color of the spectrum, and shoes that have a mind of their own, always dancing! He arrived in Rhode Island one day in a gust of glitter and since then has been teaching the kids the art of Zumba with a wave of his magical, rhythm-filled wand. Rhode Island Zumba Kids love the way their bodies move to the Captain's peppy beats, and they carry the energy of their Zumba sessions into everything they do, spreading joy and rhythm everywhere they go. Rhode Island, or ‘Little Rhody’ as it’s affectionately nicknamed, isn't just known for its beautiful beaches and delicious clam chowder anymore.
