In the tiny but mighty state of Rhode Island, tucked away in the northeastern corner of the United States, the waves aren't just splashing – they're full of adventure! A land that's more beach than anything else (and with more letters in its name than there's land too), Rhode Island sure knows how to make a big splash. That's where we meet our quirky bunch of wave riders, the Surfing Sea Urchins of Rhode Island, who can ride a wave better than a seagull on a breeze. They're a ragtag group of kids who believe they're more fish than human. With their sun-bleached hair, tanned skins, and sand in places they'd rather not mention, they're a sight to behold on their surfboards. Leading the pack is the character as cool as a sea cucumber – Ridin' Rhode Rudy. Rudy, with his freckles resembling tiny islands on his face, and his teeth as white as sea foam, lives for the rush of the salty sea wind whooshing past his ears. Rudy loves nothing more than to challenge Neptune, the god of the sea, to a surf-off, while balancing a hot dog in one hand and doing a hula hoop with his waist! In Rhode Island, it's not just about the size but the heart that counts. So, the Surfing Sea Urchins, led by Ridin’ Rhode Rudy, surf the waves, big and small, always ready for an adventure. Because in the Ocean State, you can't stop the waves, but you can surely learn to surf!
