It's home to towering trees, sparkling streams, and fiesty Field Hockey kids! Now, these aren't your everyday kind of kids. Oh no! They are the valiant members of the 'OR Ogres', the greatest Field Hockey team west of the Mississippi! These kids are as diverse as the landscapes of OR. Some are as tall and sturdy as the Cascades, others as swift and lively as the Rogue River. Leading this motley crew is the unlikely hero, Captain 'Chuckles' Chutney. Chuckles is a peculiar fellow, half-ogre, half-human, with a laugh that could quake Mount Hood itself! He's a whiz with a hockey stick and can swat a dragonfly mid-flight with his sweeping strokes. His signature move, the ‘Chuckles Chutney Chopper', has left many an opponent bewildered and still manages to make the Ogres giggle. Chuckles and the OR Ogres may look like a fun-loving bunch, but on the field, they’re anything but a laughing matter. They put their heart and soul into every game, playing with the fiery passion of a Crater Lake sunset. There’s no other sight quite like an OR Ogre charging down the field, hockey stick in hand, grinning like a Cheshire cat that got the cream.
