Whizzbang Widget, with his neon green mustache and shoes that squeaked with every step, was the heart and soul of Sportsfield. With a twinkle in his eye and a hearty "Wahoo!", he would create games that left the kids in a fit of giggles. They would run relay races on rainbow-colored tracks and play basketball with squawking rubber chickens instead of balls. In OR, every day was a new adventure with Whizzbang and the Sportsfield gang. . At Camp Taloali, we strive to provide a positive camping experience for deaf and hard of hearing children and youth in the Pacific Northwest and Western United States. Our camp offers a unique opportunity for these children and youth to grow, learn, and develop new skills and friendships. We are also proud to offer the Camp Taloali community the ability to rent the camp for any number of events, such as outdoor schools, church retreats, family events, corporate retreats, workshops, crafting, bazaars, music festivals, historical re-enactments, scouting events, church camps, athletic tournaments, fundraisers, and community events. We are also available to serve as a staging area for emergency response teams.
