Now, this was not your ordinary, garden-variety rock climbing. Oh, no! This was Oklahoma-style rock climbing, where the rocks were as tough as a cowpoke's boots and as tricky as a jackrabbit in a moonlit field. Leading the fearless pack was a cool imaginary character named Boulderdash Billy, a whiz kid with biceps as sturdy as bison and a laugh that echoed across the Oklahoma plains. Billy was a rock climbing dynamo, sporting a climbing helmet shaped like a cowboy hat and a neon lasso instead of a boring old climbing rope. He'd scramble up those sturdy Oklahoma rocks with the speed of a roadrunner and the grace of a prairie tumbleweed. Every day, Billy and his gang of Oklahoma kids would conquer the rocks, their squeals of delight piercing the tranquility of the plains.
