The plucky state of Ohio, known as the Buckeye State, was home to an eccentrically wonderful group of kids. These kids had one thing in common: an unquenchable love for a game known as Tennis. Yes, Tennis, which in their language meant 'the art of hitting a tiny green ball across a net with a racquet, whilst not forgetting to dodge the wild swooshes of the wind'. These Ohio kids were not your average Tennis players. There was something particularly magical, and slightly hilarious, about their game. Their imaginary coach was a character named "Backhand Billy," an invisible, but very audible character. Billy was a giant talking raccoon who wore a vintage tennis sweater and possessed a backhand stronger than a bulldozer. You could always hear his hearty laughter echoing across the courts as he shared his witty comments and unique playing strategies. He'd squawk, "Remember, folks, the tennis ball is like a juicy burger - you gotta slam it right!" or "Use the racquet like a frying pan and flip that tennis ball like a pancake!" These Ohio kids, guided by the audacious Backhand Billy, played tennis not only with skill but also with a sense of humor. They served with a chortle, volleyed with a grin, and ran across the court with giggles trailing behind them. And each game was followed by a traditional huddle where they'd share the funniest moment of the match. Their laughter could be heard echoing across Ohio, as if the state itself was shaking with mirth. In Ohio, Tennis wasn't just a game; it was a symphony of laughter, camaraderie, and imaginary raccoon wisdom. Simply put, it was a celebration of being a kid in the Buckeye State.
