Somewhere in the vast midwestern plains of the United States is a state known as Ohio, or as the legendary adventurer, Captain Buckeye, fondly calls it, "The Land of the Three Cs - Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland!" Captain Buckeye, an enormously friendly squirrel with a hat as wide as his tail and a penchant for acorn-shaped bullets, is the unofficial mascot for riflery in Ohio. Ohio kids are a unique breed of sharpshooters, taught by none other than Captain Buckeye himself! They're not just any average Jane or Joe. No, sir! They are freckle-faced, corn-fed wonders, with eyes as precise as a hawk circling its prey and reflexes quicker than a rattlesnake in a rabbit hole. These kids possess an uncanny ability to thread a needle from a hundred yards or pop a balloon from across a football field. Fast as lightning and quiet as a mouse, these Ohioan riflers are a sight to behold, especially when they're under the guidance of their beloved, acorn-munching, tail-twitching Captain. And what a sight it is, to see Captain Buckeye standing tall on his hind legs, his chest puffed out, and his tiny paw pointing towards the target. His voice, a surprising baritone for such a small creature, booms across the field, "Aim with your eyes, shoot with your heart, and always, ALWAYS respect your equipment!" Then, with a wink and a flick of his bushy tail, he leaps onto the nearest tree branch, leaving a group of wide-eyed, inspired children behind. These are the riflers of Ohio, young shots ready to take on the world, one target at a time.
