The state of New York is a giant playground, like a giganormous candy shop, only instead of chocolates and sweets, it's filled with bustling cities, serene parks, mammoth mountains, and glittering lakes. The Big Apple is the cherry on top, where skyscrapers try to tickle the sky with their pointy tops, and people from all over the world come to have a bite of its juicy delights. Amongst these lively dwellers are the 'Gymnasti-kids,' a merry bunch of monkeys who swap trees for the parallel bars and the uneven bars. They somersault through the air with such grace, you'd think they were born with springs in their legs and feathers in their caps. Their leader is Lanky Larry, a pint-sized powerhouse with biceps like mini cannonballs and a smile brighter than the neon lights of Times Square. Despite being as flexible as a cooked spaghetti noodle and as bouncy as a jellybean on a trampoline, Larry is known for his "Flubber Feet." He can't take two steps without tripping over his own toes! But when it comes to gymnastics, he's like a supercharged kangaroo. Larry can flip, twirl, spiral, and somersault like a tornado in a tutu. One moment he's on the ground, the next he's soaring through the air, leaving a trail of gasps and giggles. The 'Gymnasti-kids' aren't just about wowing the crowd with their gymnastic stunts though. They believe in the power of teamwork, friendship, and the magic that comes from believing in yourself. Whether they're practicing in the gym or playing in Central Park, these kids remind us all that with a sprinkle of determination and a dash of fun, the sky's the limit!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
Camp Nabby has been providing Westchester County families with summer fun since 1940. In 1970, the Bertino family, led by Frank and Flo, became the second owners of the then-called Nabby Day Camp. As an experienced educator and coach, Frank was eager to take on the challenge of creating a top-notch physical education program from the ground up. Prior to coming to Camp Nabby, Frank and Flo had spent 44 years at Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, where Frank held a distinguished record as an administrator and teacher. His greatest accomplishments, however, were on the football field: in four decades of coaching, Frank led Riverdale teams to an impressive 17 undefeated seasons and 17 Ivy Preparatory School League championships, with a final record of 247‑47‑6. Since 1989, Gate Hill has been a part of the Male family. Josh, Bob, and Jennifer, the camp directors emeritus, have been overseeing the daily operations of the camp and providing supervision to both staff and campers. However, the word “family” extends beyond the Male family, with campers, parents, and staff all part of the Gate Hill family. We want to ensure that our campers have a fulfilling experience, so we provide parents with updates on their child’s progress, friendships, and stories that make them smile. We are also available to answer any questions that parents may have to make sure their child has the best possible camp experience.
