Once upon a time, in the sun-splashed state of Nevada, where the cacti grow as tall as houses and the jackrabbits wore sunglasses, a band of kids turned their sights to an activity as old as the desert itself: archery. Now, these weren't your everyday, run-of-the-mill children. Oh no, they were the merry members of the "Nifty Nevada Nockers," a group of youngsters who had a knack for shooting arrows straighter than a jackrabbit's hop! At the helm of this archery-adoring alliance was the coolest, most imaginative character you could ever meet, a girl by the name of Dazzling Daisy. She was as sharp as a cactus needle, and as quick as a tumbleweed in a windstorm. With a quiver full of arrows strapped to her back and a sparkle in her eye, she led the Nockers to archery glory, day after day. Daisy and her merry band of Nevada Nockers would set up their targets, made from tumbleweeds and old cowboy boots, under the endless blue skies. They would line up, eyes squinting against the bright desert sun, draw their bows and let their arrows fly. THWACK! BOING! SPLAT! The sounds could be heard echoing through the canyons, startling the sunglasses-wearing jackrabbits. It was a hilarious sight to behold as some arrows would stick in the targets while others would bounce off, go astray, and once in a blue moon, an old boot would go flying into the air! But through the laughter and the tumbleweed targets, the Nifty Nevada Nockers learned to aim true, stick together, and enjoy the beauty of the desert while doing what they loved. And so they lived, in the wacky, wild and wonderful world of Nevada. Where the archery arrows flew, the jackrabbits hopped and the sun always shone on the merry band of the Nifty Nevada Nockers.
