They are New Mexico's legendary Kayak Kiddos. Dressed in their vibrant life jackets like armored knights, they glide through the waters with their paddles flashing in the sunlight. Leading the charge is none other than Captain Splash – a charming, funny character with a sombrero that's always slightly askew. Now, Captain Splash might have the biceps of a chili bean, but he has the heart of a giant. With a twinkle in his eye and a laugh that sounds like a coyote's yip, he spends his days guiding his team of Kayak Kiddos down the river rapids, dodging 'water snakes' (which are just sneaky waves) and out-paddling the 'river monsters' (driftwood with a bad attitude). New Mexico and its Kayak Kiddos are proof that big adventures come in small packages.
