New Mexico, or as Sir Cactus Carl likes to call it, "Land of the Fiery Sunsets and Green Chile Pizzas", is not your average state. It's a magical realm where ancient adobe houses kiss the sky, and hot air balloons paint a rainbow over the desert. The mountains whisper tales of old, and the caves hold secrets of a time long past. Our pint-sized explorers, with their backpacks filled to the brim with curiosity, venture into the heart of New Mexico. They hike the sacred trails of the Native Americans in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, excavate the treasures of the past in the dinosaur-filled landscape of Ghost Ranch, and even fly up, up and away on hot air balloons over Albuquerque, waving to the roadrunners below. Each Field Trip is a new chapter, a new adventure and an opportunity to discover the magic of New Mexico. And trust me, they've had more than just a few run-ins with the state's notorious chili pepper bandits...but that's a story for another time.
