Sally was as nimble as a squirrel, with a wild mop of hair that changed colors more often than a chameleon, depending on her mood. One day it would be electric blue, and the next, it might be neon green. Sally loved the challenge of the rope course, with its sky-high platforms, swinging ropes, and wobbly bridges. Even when she was clinging to a rope with the wind whistling in her ears and her heart pounding like a drum, she was grinning from ear to ear. Her crew, a motley group of fellow thrill-seekers, were just as brave. They were a lively bunch who approached each challenge with the same enthusiasm as a seagull spotting a hotdog on the beach. At Atlantic Coast Gymnastics (ACG), we are dedicated to introducing our youth to the unique physical and mental benefits of gymnastics. Our programs are designed to build confidence, poise, mental and physical discipline, determination, teamwork, and self-confidence. Since our founding in 1986, ACG has helped more than 100 youth become national qualifiers, and 25 have earned full or partial college scholarships. Our programs are designed for all ages and skill levels. We offer preschool and recreational gymnastics classes for boys and girls, competitive USAG and Xcel women’s gymnastics, and levels 2-10 and Xcel Silver-Platinum for girls.
