Once upon a time, in the tiny but terrific state of New Jersey, there was a gang of pedal-pushing kids who called themselves the "Jersey Juggernauts." This wasn't just any ordinary state, oh no, it was special, painted with vibrant wildflowers, carpeted by lush green fields, and dotted with famous sparkling blue shorelines. And, of course, the state was home to the world's best hoagies, juicy tomatoes, and an exciting rollercoaster of weather that could have all four seasons in just one week! The "Jersey Juggernauts" were a mixed bunch of kids, some as tough as the pines in Pine Barrens, others as sweet as the blueberries from Hammonton. But what tied them together was their love for biking. They'd zip around their neighborhoods, leaving a trail of laughter and the smell of rubber in their wake, competing over who could do the most daring stunts or reach the farthest towns on their two-wheeled steeds. Then, there was their unofficial leader, Spoke Savvy Sammy. Sammy was as cheeky as a Jersey squirrel and as swift as a gust blowing across the meadows. He had a helmet that seemed to have a mind of its own, with stickers from every bakery he had ever visited, and knee pads that were held together by dreams and duct tape. Sammy and the Jersey Juggernauts would ride their bikes across the lively boardwalks, through the bustling downtown streets, and over the sun-kissed farmlands of New Jersey. They would pedal their way into new adventures each day, embracing the spirit of their magnificent state. And every evening, they would gather under the purples and oranges of the Jersey sunset, sharing stories of their biking feats, and dreaming about the next day's escapades.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
