In the enchanting state of New Hampshire, nestled between the magnificent White Mountains and the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean, exists a secret society of culinary artists. These aren't ordinary chefs, oh no, these are the children of the 'Granite State'. And they're not alone; they're guided by the coolest, most admired culinary wizard of all time - Chef Zest-a-Lot. Chef Zest-a-Lot, a jolly fellow with a hat made of pancake batter and a cape stitched with candy floss, is always ready for a cooking expedition. His eyes, twinkling like chocolate chips, hold a mischievous glint that matches perfectly with his giggly, gurgling laughter. His secret weapon? A magical spatula, that flips not just pancakes, but the dullest moods into jolly good times! The children, or as Chef Zest-a-Lot calls them, his 'little sous chefs', team up from all corners of the state. From the quaint town of Littleton to the bustling city of Manchester, these kids have the freshest maple syrup from the Sugarbushes and the juiciest apples from the orchards at their disposal. Their imaginations run wild, creating everything from blueberry pie mountains to clam chowder rivers. Despite the cold New Hampshire winters, the kitchens are always warm with laughter, camaraderie, and the sweet aromas of creativity. The children might be tiny, but they stir up a storm in the kitchen. As they whisk, chop, bake, and roast, they also learn, grow, and bond, under the watchful marshmallow eyes of the jovial Chef Zest-a-Lot. In their world, every recipe is an adventure, and every dish is a delicious triumph.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

The YMCA Camp Foss community provides a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. Through the camp's experienced and knowledgeable staff, campers are encouraged to explore, create, and grow. They learn essential life skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and respect. Campers also participate in a variety of outdoor activities and games, such as hiking, campfires, and sports. These activities provide campers with the opportunity to build relationships and develop a sense of teamwork as they work together to achieve common goals. YMCA Camp Foss is dedicated to providing an inclusive and diverse experience for all campers.
