Deep within the heart of the evergreen state of New Hampshire, where mountains tickle the sky and lakes reflect the sun like a million sparkling diamonds, a merry band of kids gathers every year for a unique and thrilling activity - Tree Planting! Meet the "Sapling Squad" led by our friendly and hilarious mascot, Sir Leaf-a-Lot, an oversized acorn with a mustache and a heart as big as his nutty head! With his green leafy cape flapping in the wind, high top boots that are always muddy, and a wide-brimmed hat decorated with bird feathers, Sir Leaf-a-Lot is an absolute sight to behold. These earth-loving, mud-splattered kids, with big hearted laughs and even bigger dreams, make up the most dynamic tree planting team in all of New Hampshire. They combine their love for adventure with an indomitable spirit that is as firm as the granite of their beloved Granite State! Each spring, the Sapling Squad, wielding their shovels like knights with their swords, march into the forests, committed to plant a thousand trees! They dig, they plant, they laugh, and they play. Creating a symphony of joy, their laughter echoes through the valleys as they plant little trees that will grow into mighty giants of the forest. So, whether they're competing for the 'Fastest Tree Planter' or the 'Most Muddy Kid' award, these tree-planting knights of New Hampshire truly know how to make a difference while having barrels of fun! After all, as Sir Leaf-a-Lot always says, "The forest is our kingdom, and we're its loyal knights, so let's keep it green and giggly!"
