Deep within the enchanting state of New Hampshire, where forests whisper secrets and mountains touch the sky, a school of adventurous kids, known as the "Waterski Wonders", was making quite a splash. This isn't your everyday neighborhood gang. Oh no! These kids are water wizards, sliding and gliding over serene lakes as if they were born with skis instead of feet! The champion of the bunch was a ten-year-old dynamo named Ziggy Zoom. With his fiery red hair, freckled face, and a grin wider than the Merrimack River, Ziggy was as much a part of New Hampshire as the majestic White Mountains. Rumor has it that when Ziggy was a baby, instead of baby rattles, he had mini water skis to play with. Every morning, before the roosters had a chance to yawn, Ziggy would bolt out of his bed, scarf down a monstrous pancake stack (that would make the Old Man of the Mountain green with envy), zip into his lucky polka-dotted wetsuit, and dash to the lake with a thunderous "ZIGGY ZOOM!" that echoed through the Granite State. The other Waterski Wonders would soon follow, enthusiastically tumbling out of their houses, scruffy hair all directions, barely swallowing their breakfasts. They simply couldn't wait to team up with Ziggy for another day of waterskiing shenanigans. There, amid the laughter, the splashes, and the spirit of camaraderie, the kids would celebrate the magic of the enchanting state of New Hampshire, where even the water had a story to tell. And what a watertastic story it was!

For nearly a century, the William Lawrence Camp has been providing youth with healthy outdoor recreational opportunities. Founded in the early 1900s, the camp was named after William Lawrence, an early advocate of camping. For many years, the camp had a strong relationship with the Episcopal Church. Families often learned of the camp through their local parishes, and during the summer, visiting clergy offered Sunday services in the outdoor chapel. Through the years, the camp has continued to promote the importance of shared values and ideals. In the late sixties, the camp ended its association with the church, but has continued to embrace this same core philosophy. Today, the William Lawrence Camp offers a variety of activities and is a place for youth to have fun and form lasting memories. It is a testament to William Lawrence’s commitment to providing healthy opportunities for young people and his belief in the importance of commonly shared values and ideals.
