In the great state of Nebraska, where cornfields dance under the wide-open skies and the iconic Chimney Rock stands as a sentinel of history, an unusual gang of kids embark on an exciting journey every day. They are the Jiu Jitsu Juggernauts of Nebraska, a spunky group of youngsters who can twist, twirl, and tumble with the best of them. These kids are not superheroes, oh no! They are real, like you and me, but with gi uniforms as their superhero capes. Leading the pack is their quirky sensei, a character as enigmatic as the Sandhills. Grand Master Cornstalk, nicknamed for Nebraska’s favorite crop, is a lean and wiry figure with a comical head of hair that dances like corn in the wind. He commands respect, even though his appearance may suggest otherwise. Cornstalk’s dojo is a lively place. The walls echo with laughter, lessons and the occasional ‘ouch’! Every day after school, the dojo fills with kids eager to master their grappling skills. Big kids, small kids, kids who could flip like pancakes, and kids who could slip like eels, they all join the jiu-jitsu jamboree. Master Cornstalk is always there, armed with his corny jokes. "What's the best way to stop a bull from charging?" he once quizzed his young pupils. "Take away its credit card!" said he, chuckling at his own frazzled wit. The kids groan but laugh anyway. After all, it’s not just about Jiu-Jitsu here; it’s about having fun, making friends, and learning to roll with life’s punches. And in the heart of Nebraska, amid the laughter and lessons, the Jiu Jitsu Juggernauts of Nebraska do exactly that.

At ASKJ, we offer the perfect balance between traditional martial arts training and modern self-defense. Our 5 Circle System is an integration of techniques from Taekwondo, Karate, Judo, and Jiu-Jitsu, offering students a comprehensive martial arts curriculum. Our classes are split into age and rank groups, so students can learn at their own pace in a traditional group setting. We don’t measure success by championships or trophies—instead, we count success in terms of overcoming fear and achieving personal excellence. Our goal is to help each student discover and unlock their inner strength.
