Welcome to the grand old state of Nebraska, where the cornfields sway under the endless sky and the prairies are dotted with herds of cattle. Now, kids, don't you go thinking this state is just about corn and cows! It's where countless adventures take place, especially for the brave group of explorers known as the “Nebraska Navigators.” The Nebraska Navigators are not your average pack of kids. Oh no! These little adventurers are always ready to embark on exciting field trips. Armed with their backpacks filled with notebooks, pencils, and most importantly, snacks, they march on, exploring every nook and cranny of Nebraska. Their mascot? A cool, shades-wearing ear of corn named Kernel Cob! Kernel Cob, with his corny jokes, always keeps the spirits high and the laughter flowing. "Why did the tomato turn red?" he'd ask, and quickly answer, "Because it saw the salad dressing!" Every field trip is an adventure as they venture into mysterious museums, spend a day with wobbly scarecrows in pumpkin patches, or learn how to lasso at a cowboy ranch. Whether they're unearthing dinosaur bones at Ashfall Fossil Beds or getting lost (and then found) in the Arbor Day Farm Tree Adventure, the Nebraska Navigators and Kernel Cob are sure to encounter surprises around every corner. So, in the great state of Nebraska, it's not just about the cattle and the cornfields. It's about discovery, laughter, and most importantly, the unforgettable adventures of the Nebraska Navigators and their funny mascot, Kernel Cob. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your backpack and join them on their next field trip!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
