There's a special group of kids, known as the "Glass Warriors," who have the magical power to transform ordinary sand into extraordinary works of art. Nebraska, affectionately known as NE, is a place where the sky stretches as far as the eye can see and the sun paints a new masterpiece in the clouds every evening. But our brave Glass Warriors are the true artists here. They gather in secret workshops, hidden amongst prairies and pastures, where they sculpt molten glass into shimmering sculptures, glowing goblets, and radiant rainbows. Our hero, a goofy yet lovable scarecrow named Silly Straw, watches over them as they work. Don't be fooled by his straw-filled head, for it is full of wisdom and corny jokes that could make even a grumpy old goat giggle. He guides the young Glass Warriors with a twinkle in his button eyes, encouraging them to be brave, to take chances, and to create art that captures the brilliant spirit of Nebraska. Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992.
