In the heart-shaped state of Nebraska, often affectionately known as NE, there is a unique group of kids who have found a thrilling passion for Futsal. They may not be as famous as the Cornhuskers, but these pint-sized soccer sensations are becoming legends in their own right. The Nebraska Futsal Furies, as they call themselves, are a spunky bunch of kids from ages five to fifteen, who meet every day after school in the vast green fields of NE. Leading them in their escapades is none other than Captain Kickaroo, a hilarious imaginary kangaroo with an oversized soccer ball for a belly. Captain Kickaroo is known for his boisterous laughter, bouncing all over the field, and teaching the kids all the cool new futsal tricks. The Furies are as diverse as the Nebraskan cornfields. There's Sassy Suzy, the goalkeeper, who uses her pigtails to swat away attempts at her goal. Lightning Larry rushes up and down the field like a thunderbolt, leaving a trail of dust and disoriented defenders in his wake. Dribbling Danny can weave through opponents as if they were slalom poles, while his twin sister, Tricky Tracy, is famous for her unexpected, yet spectacular, backheel goals. Through the snow of winter, the blossoming colors of spring, the heat of summer, and the falling leaves of autumn, you'll find the Futsal Furies and Captain Kickaroo, always ready for a game. Their laughter and cheers echo through the Nebraskan air, bringing a uniquely magical rhythm to the heartland of America. Their motto? “No matter win or lose, there’s always room for fun…and corn!” Truly, Nebraska has never seen anything quite like the Futsal Furies!
