Once upon a time, tucked smack dab in the middle of the great United States, lay the state of Nebraska, or as our hero, Corn Cob Carl, likes to call it, "The Land of Corn and Courage." Nebraska, known for its endless cornfields, vibrant sunsets, and football fanatics, was also surprisingly home to a grand, heart-pounding adventure - the amazing Rope Course Activity! Corn Cob Carl, a fun-loving scarecrow with an endless smile stitched across his straw face, was the coolest corn cob in the Cornhusker State. He wore a farmer's hat that could spin like a propeller and boots that could dance the fandango. Carl was the mascot of this daring adventure, always there to cheer on the brave Nebraska kids who dared to challenge the ropes. These kids were not ordinary by any stretch. They were fearless daredevils, with the spirit of adventure pumping through their veins. If they were kernels, they'd pop with excitement! Boys and girls, big and small, would conquer the high ropes, zip lines, and swinging bridges, all while laughing and shouting, "Go Big Red!" They'd swing from rope to rope, like monkeys in a jungle, their laughter echoing across the plains. With every leap and swing, they'd learn a little more about bravery and teamwork. And at the end of each day, they'd leave with dirt on their knees, blisters on their hands, and a sense of achievement as vast as the Nebraska prairie itself. "Nebraska, the land of corn and courage," Corn Cob Carl would tip his hat and say, "where kids aren't just kids, they're brave little cornstalks, growing taller and stronger with every swing!"

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
